The validation process includes posting debits and credits to your account. At this point, management believes it is in the best interest of the members to move forward with restoring access to online and mobile banking. As we continue to validate our data, there may be additional transactions that need to be processed and could clear in the coming days. Please keep this in mind when looking at your balances.

We value the trust of our members. The current system disruption has caused frustration, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. We assure you that we are working closely with our vendor to get our systems back to normal. This was not a localized Family First Credit Union outage. Credit Unions like ours across the country that use the same data processor were affected by a larger data center failure.
Family First Credit Union’s data system has been restored and was available to staff at 3:00 pm on Friday the 18th to begin the next step in recovery, which is data validation. Our staff will be working through the weekend to validate your member information. The validation process includes posting debits and credits to your account.
Once validation is complete, members will be able to access their account balances and history by speaking to our Member Service Representatives.
What You Need to Know This Weekend
Our branches will be open during normal Saturday business hours to assist members.
We have extended our call center hours and will have Member Service Representatives available until 2:00 PM on Saturday.
During validation, we will post ACH deposits that are pending. If you are expecting a direct deposit, our staff may be able to verify that it has been received and is pending or posted.
Debit and ATM cards remain available and can continue to be used within the offline limits currently in place.
We will let you know when online and mobile banking becomes available and ready to return to service.

On September 15, 2026, at approximately 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Family First Credit Union experienced a disruption involving the data processing system used to service our members.
This is not a localized Family First Credit Union outage. Credit unions like ours across the country that use the same core processor are being affected by a larger data center failure.
Our core processor has confirmed that its primary data center experienced a cooling system failure, which caused temperatures to rise rapidly and damaged critical storage and network equipment. Importantly, there has been no data breach or unauthorized access to member information. This is a service availability issue, not a cybersecurity incident.
As a result of this disruption, we are currently unable to provide account balances or process certain transactions. Our online and mobile banking services have also been affected.
Our data processor is working diligently to restore the affected systems and return services to normal as quickly as possible. We understand how important access to your accounts is and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this disruption may cause.
